As the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Amsterdam came to a conclusion on 25th September, Sega reports that the show was a success for all product areas. "Year after year the EAS show has exceeded our expectations, the first two days were extremely busy as our sales team met with new and existing customers across Europe, in our traditional market as well as the wider amusement parks and attractions industry," Said Justin Burke, General Manager at Sega.
Justin continued “we had a strong line-up of video, redemption and prize games that attracted lots of visitors to our stand. There was a lot of buzz for high value IP games such as Transformers and Plants vs Zombies which continued to generate strong sales.”
Visitors were keen to try out the skill wall games such as Down The Clown, Whack N Win, Ice Ball Fx and Milk Jug Toss. While Down the Clown and Whack N Win stood out as a star products, with their distinctive carnival charm and character, intuitive gameplay, interactive voices that encourage players to repeat play; operators were keen to get these games to expand their skill wall offering.
Justin said “We would like to thank everyone that visited us, their presence, interaction and participation helped make this show very special and an outstanding success for us”.
Keeping with its tradition of alternating within major European cities, EAS 2015 will be taking place in the fantastic city of Gothenber, Sweden, at the Svenska Mässan Exhibition Center, from 6th to 8th October 2015. “Based on the success we’ve had at EAS, we are really looking forward to next year’s show in Sweden. In the meanwhile, we would like to invite you to visit us at IAAPA in Florida from 18th to 21st November 2014 on stands 1606 & 1806, to see some of our innovative new games being released for the first time” concluded Justin.
