The latest sequel to the classic OutRun series, OutRun 2 SP Special Deluxe^TM is a virtual driving experience combining the exhilaration of OutRun 2 SP^TM with a thrilling big screen, simulated cabinet and amazing Lindbergh^TM graphics.

The cabinet is composed of four individual moving cabinets. Each cabinet comes loaded with 2 sets of handles, accelerators and breaks for Team Play (2-player). In Team Play, the drivers switch control when the car comes in contact with other cars, walls or stage changes.

There are three modes for Single Play. Players can board a choice of 10 Ferrari models in a race against the CPU.

OutRun Mode - easy driving
Heart Attack - speed up to raise the heart gauge
Time Attack - race mode

In Linked Mode, all cars race together on the same course on their specific Ferrari model. The cabinet comes with a PA system and race controls for an attendant or race official.

Other features include an electronic billboard indicating real-time ranking of players, CCD cameras in each cabinet putting the leading players face on the overhead monitor, and a variety classic OutRun background music to choose from.
