Meet Trevor Clarke at IAAPA

Head of Sega Amusement’s Merchandise Division, Trevor Clarke began his Sega journey in 2007 when he was appointed as the newly created Prize team’s Business Development Manager. Early in his career Clarke commanded a diverse range of jobs roles ranging from manufacturing to logistics, until finding his footing in sales where he excelled and quickly escalated to managing mainstream retailer accounts such as Marks & Spencer’s and B&Q.

Understanding significant differences between Amusements industry and retail Clarke quickly adapted and evolved into his current role as Head of Merchandise. Bringing his retail expertise to the prize division Clarke put in place vital procedures and developed key relationships with operators, distributors and logistics teams to build the solid distribution network that elevated the department inevitably resulting in exponential growth.

Currently Clarke manages Sega Prize, a young creative team within Sega, focused on developing and distributing high quality licensed merchandise to an ever-expanding customer base. Incredibly excited to be showing at IAAPA this year, Clarke explains that this years show will be a pinnacle time for Sega Prize as two of our leading licensed plush ranges, Doodle Jump and Plants vs. Zombies™, have been engineered specifically to meet the requirements of operators and distributors in the US market and we are looking forward to showing these brands in a region where they have been tremendously successful.

At this years IAAPA the team plans to launch 2 huge new licensed product ranges specifically engineered to meet the demands of the US amusements market.”
